He is the dude to know...but if you don't know, now you know. I met Trevor back during the Hannah Ranch days back in the time of Summer 2006. I had just finished my first year of high school and Trevor was about to be in 7th grade. This kid could shred since he was born. But I didn't start riding with him until after the 2nd Ramprats mountain bike jam, where he took 1st place, along with a free trip to Woodward West. That also was the contest where another good friend of mine, Sergio Acosta, pulled his first 2 successful backflips. Since I first started hanging out with Trevor, he has gone through some trends from metro-ish to grunge to now, Organic, free-spirited all around good guy. No drama with this guy. When you are down to shred, he is too.

Who is Sterling Lorence?

- The man, with the eye, that I look up to as my photographic hero.

Why him?

-His style, eye, and COMPOSITION of photography.

This photographer is the reason I look to still take photos, when I get the chance. I want to be him, not the fame or money, but to have the capability of grasping on to life and mountain biking in a way that is just so awe-inspiring.

His work inspires what i feel is also my style, 'composition with subject' and never the other way around (like a 'drink with lime'). Composition makes the photo, not the subject. The subject is only there to accent the photo with a small additive, while the composition is the meaning of the photo.

I built my 5 favorite photos from 5th best to All-Time Best.

Sea Otter Classic 2010

This weekend was the world famous Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, Ca. I only spent Friday and Saturday at the event because of low funds, but I managed to put everything into those 2 days and I accomplished alot. So...Enjoy!

Santa Cruz Weekend Chill

This weekend started with Sergio, Trevor, Zach and I driving to Santa Cruz on Saturday to go riding and see our good friend Zephyr, who goes to UCSC up the street from the local bike park. Fun times.

Trevor and I had a want to stay the night in SC and have a spontaneous travel home adventure. But to our luck, we could stay over night and get a car ride back with our other good friend Brian, who was coming down just for the day on Sunday.

The weather was perfect except for the wind we got when we road, but that didn't stop anything. Here's some snapshots from this weekend...Enjoy!
